We have exciting news! Our Alabama team is growing, and we could not be more thrilled! Bill Hopkins, Jr. joins Bailey Education Group as Alabama State Director along with Kim Hall who joins as our new Project Manager and Leadership Development Content Manager. With extensive experience in education and leadership, they both will enhance our programs and drive innovation. We cannot wait to see what these two achieve in their roles!
Bill Hopkins, Jr. joins Bailey Education Group as Alabama State Director. Mr. Hopkins has spent his entire 33 year career giving back and serving the people and children of Alabama and Tennessee. He has a passion for leadership and believes all children can become leaders and be successful if just given the resources and opportunity. Mr. Hopkins comes with a very unique and optimistic perspective due to his less than ideal upbringing. Mr. Hopkins was the National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Superintendent of the year for 2022, member of the Leadership Alabama Class of 28, and Alabama SSA District 8 Superintendent of the year 2018. Mr. Hopkins has been a teacher, coach, administrator, elected superintendent, appointed superintendent, and community volunteer. He is married to Shannon for over 30 years, and they have two children, Weston (Erin) and Emma (Harrison). They have two granddaughters, Emory and Ellie. We are confident in Mr. Hopkin’s experience and his leadership, and we cannot wait to see him soar in his role as state director.
Kim Hall, a highly experienced and accomplished professional, has recently joined the Bailey Education Group (Bailey) as the Project Manager and Leadership Development Content Manager. Kim has previously served as a Leadership Development Coach at Bailey and as a Leadership and Literacy Specialist for the Alabama State Department of Education's Office of School Improvement. She has excelled in various roles, including Principal and Assistant Principal at Cullman High School, showcasing exceptional skills in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and data analysis. Kim is a graduate of the University of Alabama Superintendent's Academy, holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Alabama, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Alabama. Kim has been married to Mark Hall for 32 years. They have two children Landry Hall and Hadley Turner and one grandson, JJ.
In her current position, Kim will oversee projects and develop content that enhances leadership development programs. Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply dedicated to community betterment and advancing education, actively participating in initiatives focusing on student mental health support, leadership training, and strategic planning. Kim's wealth of experience and passion for education will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of Bailey, as she plays a vital role in driving innovation and shaping the future of education.
