We are excited to announce Barbara Cage as our Director of Special Services, Reagan Cox as our Digital Content and Communications Manager, and Joe Toomey as our Workforce Development Specialist!
Barbara Cage is currently a North Mississippi Regional Project Manager and former Special Education Content Manager at Bailey Education Group. With over 20 years of experience in education, she has served in diverse roles, including as a special education teacher, assistant principal, principal, and special education director, gaining extensive leadership and instructional expertise. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Mild Moderate Disabilities K-12 and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. Additionally, as a Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Barbara excels in leading teams and driving special education initiatives, making a substantial impact on improving educational outcomes.
Reagan Cox joins the Bailey Education team as the Digital Content and Communications Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience in social media, marketing, and sales strategy.
A proud resident of Ocean Springs, Reagan graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and has spent the last 8 years honing her expertise in digital marketing and strategic growth. Having led marketing initiatives for multiple companies—including two of her own—Reagan is excited to leverage her skills to amplify Bailey Education’s mission and vision. Her passion for education and commitment to promoting Bailey Education’s core values of service, innovation, and community make her a perfect fit for the team.
Reagan is deeply enthusiastic about telling Bailey Education's story and celebrating the impact of serving schools "The Bailey Way”.
Joe Toomey was a high school and middle school principal for 16 of his 30 years in education. He guided one of his schools to a National Blue Ribbon School status, which is the highest honor in education. He was also named the principal of the year in 2019 and Martin Luther King, Jr. “Drum Major” award winner for the city of Mobile in 2020. Joe was president of Alabama Association of Secondary Principals as well as an executive board member for Council of leaders in Alabama schools. Joe is married to Kelly Toomey and has 6 children and 8 grandchildren.
